Collyweston - About the Parish Council The Parish Council is made up of seven members, all of whom dedicate some of their free time as volunteers, trying to ensure that the Parish has a voice in this part of East Northamptonshire. There are currently 2 vacant seats on Collyweston Parish Council. Could you fill it? Would you like to find out more? It meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month (except August) at 7.30pm in the Village Hall on High Street. Where it will discuss important planning applications, consultation documents from East Northamptonshire Council, Northamptonshire County Council and many more agencies that can affect the public of Collyweston. Once a year, an annual village meeting is held, where the District Councillor, County Councillor and representatives from the village groups give reports. It is also an opportunity for the community to instruct the Council on important issues that it would like the Council to address on its behalf. If you would like to come along, then check out the date on the Meetings & Minutes page, where you can also catch up on all the goings on of your local Council. |
