Higham Ferrers Tourism

About Us
Welcome to the Higham Ferrers Tourism, Business & Community Partnership Website
Higham Ferrers TourismHigham Ferrers Tourism, Business and Community Partnership is a group of enthusiastic volunteers, whose aims are to promote the many attractions that Higham Ferrers has to offer and encourage as many people as possible to visit our historic town.

The group organises events throughout the year, enabling the people of Higham Ferrers and beyond, to appreciate the architectural and cultural delights that we have on our doorstep and to become actively involved in our community.

Through various fundraising activities and with the support of East Northants Council, the group has undertaken a number of projects aimed at preserving our town's heritage and enhancing the 'Higham Ferrrers Experience'. These have included the funding of the 'Finger Sign' on the Market Square, the town's hanging baskets and our fabulous Christmas lights. The group also produced the Higham Ferrers 'Historical Walkabout', a comprehensive guide to the town.

The group has also been involved in various restoration projects, the most recent of which was the preservation of the last remaining dovecote in the town, which was completed in June 2008. We are currently working on a new project to develop a meditative garden in the grounds of Chichele College.
