Thrapston Town Band can trace its origins back to the earliest days of the brass band movement in the 1850's. The Band celebrated it's 150th Anniversary in 2008. There are currently over 35 members of all ages ranging from 8 to 80+.
Learners and improvers classes have been in operation since 1971 and over the years have trained many people young and old to play in the band. We are always looking for new players to learn or to join the band. If you are interested please contact the Band Secretary.
