Slipton
Slipton is located approximately 3 miles west of Thrapston and is within the Parish of Lowick. The village is linear in form with the Church, which dates from the 13th Century, located to the east. The village was recorded in the Domesday Book as Sliptow. In Slipton there are seven entries on the statutory list of buildings of special architectural or historic interest.
The village is served by a public house and is visited by a variety of mobile services. A bus service operates to Thrapston and Kettering.
