Clopton
Clopton is located approximately 5.5 miles north east of Thrapston. The village stretches along the north side of the B662 and was recorded in the Domesday Book as 'Clotone'.
The Church of St Peter was built in about 1863 by Richard Armstrong.
North east of Clopton Manor is King John House, which was originally the stables of the former Clopton Hall.
In 1991 the population was 95 with 37 houses: the mid 1995 estimate was the same.
A bus service operates to Oundle and Peterborough.
