Bulwick
Bulwick is located to the east of the A43. Bulwick Hall is situated to the south west of the village and in 1676 was remodelled by James Tryon. New gardens were laid out, various small scale alterations and enlargements followed and from the early 18th Century Bulwick Hall had replaced Harringworth as the chief residence of the Tryons. There are 15 entries on the statutory list of buildings of special architectural or historic interest, 13 are within the Conservation Area which is centred on St Nicholas Church. Bulwick Meadows is a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest.
