Deene


www.deenepark.com/Deene is located to the west of the A43, approximately 4½ miles north-east of Corby. The village was recorded in the Domesday book as Dene. Deene has been owned since the 16th Century by the Brudenell family, descendants of the Earls of Cardigan. Deene Hall has 14th Century origins and is noted particularly for the 16th Century building works. St Peter's Church located to the east of Deene Hall dates from the 13th Century, and is now redundant. Deene Park is included on the Register of Gardens and Parks of Special Historic Interest, parts of which are County Wildlife
